मार्कण्डेय उवाच ततः स विप्रस्तं भूयः प्रत्युवाचेदमादरात् ।

श्रद्धधानो वचस्तस्य ब्राह्मणस्य विपश्चितः ॥

mārkaṇḍeya uvāca tataḥ sa vipras taṁ bhūyaḥ pratyuvācedam ādarāt |

śraddadhāno vacas tasya brāhmaṇasya vipaścitaḥ ||

മാർക്കണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ ആ ശ്രോതാ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ വീണ്ടും ആദരത്തോടെ അവനോട് മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു; ആ ജ്ഞാനി ബ്രാഹ്മണന്റെ വചനങ്ങളിൽ വിശ്വാസം വെച്ച്।
