ये पिबन्ति महानद्यो वङ्क्षुं श्यामां सकम्बलाम् ।

अमोघां कामिनीं श्यामां तथैवान्याः सहस्रशः ॥

Transliteration

ye pibanti mahānadyō vaṅkṣuṃ śyāmāṃ sakambalām | amoghāṃ kāminīṃ śyāmāṃ tathaivānyāḥ sahasraśaḥ ||

Translation

അവർ മഹാനദികളായ വങ്ക്ഷു, ശ്യാമാ, സകംബലാ, അമോഘാ, കാമിനീ, ശ്യാമാ എന്നിവയിൽ നിന്നു ജലം പാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; അതുപോലെ ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് മറ്റു നദികളും ഉണ്ട്.
