Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
सा परिक्रम्य वै मेरुं जम्बूमूलं पुनर्नदी ।
विशति द्विजशार्दूल पीयमाना जनैश्च तैः ॥
sā parikramya vai meruṁ jambū-mūlaṁ punar nadī | viśati dvijaśārdūla pīyamānā janaiś ca taiḥ ||
ആ നദി മേരുപർവതത്തെ പരിക്രമിച്ച് വീണ്ടും ജംബൂ (വൃക്ഷ)മൂലത്തിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങി അതിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ ദ്വിജവ്യാഘ്രാ, അവിടെയുള്ള ജീവികൾ അതിനെ പാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു।
