Adhyaya 54Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru

शृङ्गवान् जारुधिश्चैव तथैवोत्तरपर्वतौ ।

यतैव दक्षिणे तद्वदर्णप्वान्तरव्यवस्थितौ ॥

വടക്കിലും ശൃംഗവാനും ജാരുധിയും എന്ന രണ്ട് പർവതങ്ങൾ പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. തെക്കിൽപോലെ തന്നെ, ഇവയും വർണ-പ്രദേശങ്ങളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അതിരായി നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
