होमाग्निदेवताधूपभस्मना च परिष्क्रिया ।
कार्याः क्षीरादिभाण्डानामेवं तद्रक्षणं स्मृतम् ॥
homāgni-devatā-dhūpa-bhasmanā ca pariṣkriyā | kāryāḥ kṣīrādi-bhāṇḍānām evaṃ tad-rakṣaṇaṃ smṛtam ||
ഹോമാഗ്നിദേവതയുടെ പാവനതയാൽ, ധൂപവും ഭസ്മവും ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ശുദ്ധീകരണം നടത്തണം—പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പാൽ മുതലായവയുടെ പാത്രങ്ങൾക്ക്. ഇങ്ങനെ അവയുടെ സംരക്ഷണം ഉപദേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
