नियोजयति चैवाऽन्यान् कन्या सा च नियोजिका ।

तस्याः पवित्रपठनात् क्रोधलोभादिवर्जनात् ॥

Transliteration

niyojayati caivānyān kanyā sā ca niyojikā / tasyāḥ pavitra-paṭhanāt krodha-lobhādi-varjanāt

Translation

മറ്റുള്ളവരെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിലേക്കു പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കന്യയെ ‘പ്രേരിക’ എന്നു പറയുന്നു; അവളുടെ സ്വാധീനത്തിൽ നിന്നുള്ള സംരക്ഷണം ശുദ്ധിസൂക്തങ്ങളുടെ ജപത്തിലൂടെയും, ക്രോധം, ലോഭം മുതലായവ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
