Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
गौरजः पुरुषो मेषो अश्वाश्वतरगर्दभाः ।
एतान् ग्राम्यान् पशूनाहुरारण्यांश्च निबोध मे ॥
gaurajaḥ puruṣo meṣo aśvāśvataragardabhāḥ | etān grāmyān paśūn āhur āraṇyāṃś ca nibodha me ||
പശു (പശു/പശു), ആട്, മനുഷ്യൻ, മേടം (ആൺആട്/മേഷം), കുതിര, ഖച്ചരം, കഴുത—ഇവയെ ഗൃഹ്യ (ഗ്രാമ്യ) മൃഗങ്ങളെന്ന് പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു. ഇനി വന്യമൃഗങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചും എന്നിൽ നിന്നു ഗ്രഹിക്ക.
