Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
उष्ट्रानश्वतरांश्चैव नानारूपाश्च जातयः ।
ओषध्यः फलमूलिन्यो रोमभ्यस्तस्य जज्ञिरे ॥
uṣṭrān aśvatarāṃś caiva nānārūpāś ca jātayaḥ | oṣadhyaḥ phalamūlinyo romabhyas tasya jajñire ||
ഒട്ടകങ്ങളും ഖച്ചരങ്ങളും, കൂടാതെ അനേകംവിധ വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന രൂപങ്ങളും സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അവന്റെ കേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നു ഫലവും മൂലവും ധരിക്കുന്ന ഔഷധി സസ്യങ്ങൾ ജനിച്ചു.
