Adhyaya 48The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation

सृष्ट्वा पितॄन् उत्ससर्ज तनुं तामपि स प्रभुः ।

सा चोत्सृष्टाभवत् सन्ध्या दिवानक्तान्तरस्थिताः ॥

sṛṣṭvā pitṝn utsasarja tanuṃ tām api sa prabhuḥ |

sā cotsṛṣṭābhavat sandhyā divā-naktāntara-sthitā ||

പിതൃകളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച ശേഷം ആ പ്രഭു ആ ദേഹവും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു. അത് വിട്ടുപോയപ്പോൾ പകലും രാത്രിയും തമ്മിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന ‘സായംസന്ധ്യ’ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു.
