Adhyaya 41 — Yogic Conduct and the Discipline Leading to Siddhi
इदं ज्ञेयमिदं ज्ञेयमिति यस्तृषितश्चरेत् ।
अपि कल्पसहस्रेषु नैव ज्ञेयमवाप्नुयात् ॥
idaṃ jñeyam idaṃ jñeyam iti yas tṛṣitaś caret | api kalpasahasreṣu naiva jñeyam avāpnuyāt ||
തൃഷ്ണയാൽ പ്രേരിതനായി ‘ഇത് അറിയണം, അത് അറിയണം’ എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ച് അലഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്നവൻ—ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് കല്പങ്ങളിലും പരമജ്ഞേയത്തെ പ്രാപിക്കുകയില്ല.
