न्यूूनातिरिक्ततां याति पञ्चकेऽस्मिन् सुखासुखम् ।

यदि स्यान्म किन्न स्यादन्यस्थेऽपि हि तन्मयि ॥

nyūnātiriktatāṃ yāti pañcake ’smin sukhāsukham | yadi syān ma kin na syād anyasthe ’pi hi tan-mayi ||

സുഖവും ദുഃഖവും ഈ പഞ്ചവിധ ദേഹസമൂഹത്തിൽ കുറവും അധികവും എന്ന രൂപത്തിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. അവ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ എന്റേതായിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ഇതിൽ നിന്ന് വേറെയായി മറ്റിടത്ത് നിലകൊള്ളുമ്പോഴും, ചൈതന്യസ്വരൂപനായ എനിക്കു അവ അവിടെയും എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കും?
