न चापि धूनयेत्केशान् वाससी न च धूनयेत् ।
नानुलेपनमादद्यादस्नातः कर्हिचिद्बुधः ॥
na cāpi dhūnayet keśān vāsasī na ca dhūnayet | nānulepanam ādadyād asnātaḥ karhicit budhaḥ ||
മുടി കുലുക്കി ചിതറിക്കരുത്; വസ്ത്രങ്ങളും കുലുക്കി തട്ടിക്കളയരുത്. സ്നാനം ചെയ്യാത്ത ജ്ഞാനി ഒരിക്കലും ലേപനം/അനുലേപനം (ഉബ്ടൻ മുതലായവ) പുരട്ടരുത്.
