Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
अन्यायकन्याशुल्कोत्थं द्रव्यञ्चात्र विगर्हितम् ।
दुर्गन्धि फेनिलञ्चाम्बु तथैवाल्पतरोदकम् ॥
anyāya-kanyā-śulkotthaṃ dravyaṃ cātra vigarhitam / durgandhi phenilaṃ cāmbu tathaivālpa-tarodakam
ഇവിടെ അന്യായമായ ‘കന്യാശുൽക്കം’ (അനുചിത വധൂമൂല്യം) മുതലായവയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ധനവും നിന്ദ്യമാണ്; കൂടാതെ ദുർഗന്ധമുള്ളതോ നുരയുള്ളതോ ആയ വെള്ളം, കുറവ് പ്രവാഹം മൂലം ക്ഷീണിച്ച വെള്ളവും വർജ്ജ്യം.
