Adhyaya 23Ashvatara’s Vow for Madalasa and the Bestowal of Musical Science by Sarasvati

आरभेत नरः कर्म स्वपौरुषमहापयन् ।

निष्पत्तिः कर्मणो दैवे पौरुषे च व्यवस्थिताः ॥

ārabheta naraḥ karma sva-pauruṣam ahāpayan | niṣpattiḥ karmaṇo daive pauruṣe ca vyavasthitā ||

മനുഷ്യൻ തന്റെ പരിശ്രമം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കാതെ പ്രവർത്തി ആരംഭിക്കണം. പ്രവർത്തിസിദ്ധി ദൈവവും മനുഷ്യപ്രയത്നവും—ഇരുവരിലും സ്ഥാപിതമാണ്.
