Adhyaya 2 — The Lineage of Garuda and the Birth of the Wise Birds: Kanka and Kandhara

Sanskrit

समं समन्तात् प्राप्ता तु निर्भिन्नधरणीतला ।

छादयन्ती खगाण्डानि स्थितानि पिशितोपरी ॥

Transliteration

samaṃ samantāt prāptā tu nirbhinnadharaṇītalā /

chādayantī khagāṇḍāni sthitāni piśitopari //

Translation

എന്നാൽ അത് എല്ലാദിക്കുകളിലേക്കും സമമായി പരന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉപരിതലം പിളർന്നു. മാംസത്തിന്മേൽ കിടന്നിരുന്ന പക്ഷികളുടെ മുട്ടകളെ മൂടി, അത് അവിടെ തന്നെ നിലകൊണ്ടു।
