देवा ऊचुः दानवैर्मुनिशार्दूल ! जम्भाद्यैर्भूर्भुवादिकम् ।
हृतं त्रैलोक्यमाक्रम्य क्रतुभागाश्च कृत्स्नशः ॥
devā ūcuḥ dānavair muniśārdūla! jambhādyair bhūrbhuvādikam |
hṛtaṃ trailokyam ākramya kratubhāgāś ca kṛtsnaśaḥ ||
ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ മുനീന്ദ്രവ്യാഘ്രാ! ജംഭ മുതലായ ദാനവർ ത്രിലോകം കീഴടക്കി ഭൂഃ, ഭുവഃ മുതലായ ലോകങ്ങൾ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു; യജ്ഞങ്ങളുടെ എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളും അവർ അപഹരിച്ചു.”
