भर्तृपिण्डमुपाश्नन् यस्तदिष्टं न निषेवते । सोऽपि मोहसमापन्नो जायते वानरो मृतः ॥

bhartṛpiṇḍamupāśnan yastadiṣṭaṃ na niṣevate / so 'pi mohasamāpanno jāyate vānaro mṛtaḥ

ഭർത്താവിനായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച പിണ്ഡം ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും, വിധിപ്രകാരം തനിക്കു യോജിച്ചതിൽ പങ്കുചേരാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ആ മോഹിതൻ മരണാനന്തരം കുരങ്ങിന്റെ യോനിയിൽ ജനിക്കുന്നു।
