निकृत्या कञ्चनं नृणां कार्पण्यं च नृणां वधः । यानि च प्रतिषिद्धानि तत्प्रवृत्तिश्च सन्तता ॥
nikṛtyā kañcanaṃ nṛṇāṃ kārpaṇyaṃ ca nṛṇāṃ vadhaḥ / yāni ca pratiṣiddhāni tat-pravṛttiś ca santatā
ജനങ്ങളുടെ സ്വർണം വഞ്ചനയിലൂടെ കവർന്നെടുക്കൽ, കൃപണത, മനുഷ്യവധം, കൂടാതെ നിഷിദ്ധമായ ഏതു കർമ്മവും അതിൽ നിരന്തരം ഏർപ്പെടൽ—ഇവ മഹാദോഷങ്ങളായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.
