पायसं कृशरं छागो देवाऽन्नानि च यानि वै ।
भुक्तानि यैरसंस्कृत्य तेषां नेत्राणि पापिनाम् ॥
pāyasaṃ kṛśaraṃ chāgo devānnāni ca yāni vai /
bhuktāni yair asaṃskṛtya teṣāṃ netrāṇi pāpinām
പായസം, കൃശര, ആട്ടിറച്ചി, ദേവന്മാർക്ക് നിവേദിച്ച ഏതു ഭക്ഷണവും—വിധിയില്ലാതെ അത് ഭുജിക്കുന്ന പാപികൾക്ക് കണ്ണുകളെ ബാധിക്കുന്ന ദണ്ഡം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
