Adhyaya 11 — The Son’s Discourse on Embryogenesis, Birth, and the Wheel of Saṃsāra

Sanskrit

एवं वृद्धिं क्रमाद्याति जन्तुः स्त्रीगर्भसंस्थितः ।

अन्यसत्त्वोदरे जन्तोर्यथा रूपं तथा स्थितिः ॥

Transliteration

evaṃ vṛddhiṃ kramādyāti jantuḥ strīgarbhasaṃsthitaḥ / anyasattvodare jantoryathā rūpaṃ tathā sthitiḥ

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ജീവി ക്രമേണ വളരുന്നു. മറ്റൊരു സത്തയുടെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ ജീവിയുടെ അവസ്ഥ അതിന്റെ സ്വന്തം രൂപത്തിനനുസരിച്ചായിരിക്കും।
