Adhyaya 11The Son’s Discourse on Embryogenesis, Birth, and the Wheel of Saṃsāra

एवं संसारचक्रेऽस्मिन् जन्तवो घटियन्त्रवत् ।

भ्राम्यन्ते प्राकृतैर्बन्धैर्बद्ध्वा बाध्यन्ति चासकृत् ॥

evaṁ saṁsāra-cakre ’smin jantavo ghaṭi-yantravat | bhrāmyante prākṛtair bandhair baddhvā bādhyanti cāsakṛt ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ഈ സംസാരചക്രത്തിൽ ജീവികൾ ജലം ഉയർത്തുന്ന യന്ത്രചക്രംപോലെ ചുറ്റുന്നു; പ്രകൃതിയുടെ (ഭൗതിക) ബന്ധനങ്ങളിൽ ബന്ധിതരായി അവർ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും നിയന്ത്രിതരാകുന്നു।
