गत्वा गजद्रुमाद्येषु गोष्वश्वेषु तथैव च ।

अन्यासु चैव पापासु दुःखदासु च योनिषु ॥

gatvā gajadrumādyeṣu goṣv aśveṣu tathaiva ca | anyāsu caiva pāpāsu duḥkhadāsu ca yoniṣu ||

ആന, വൃക്ഷം മുതലായ ജന്മങ്ങളിൽ പ്രവേശിച്ച്, അതുപോലെ പശു, കുതിര മുതലായവയിലും; അവൻ മറ്റു പാപമയവും ദുഃഖദായകവുമായ യോനികളിലും ജനിക്കുന്നു।
