वैशम्पायन उवाच यदार्जुनेन ते वीरा: कथिता: पञ्च पाण्डवा: । तदार्जुनस्य वैराटि: कथयामास विक्रमम्,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! जब अर्जुनने पाँचों पाण्डव वीरोंका परिचय दे दिया, तब विराटकुमार उत्तरने अर्जुनका पराक्रम बताया
vaiśampāyana uvāca | yadārjunena te vīrāḥ kathitāḥ pañca pāṇḍavāḥ | tadārjunasya vairāṭiḥ kathayāmāsa vikramam ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—രാജാവേ! അർജുനൻ ആ അഞ്ചു വീര പാണ്ഡവരെ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, വിരാടപുത്രൻ ഉത്തരൻ അർജുനന്റെ വിക്രമം വിവരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി—സഭാസമക്ഷം അവന്റെ വീര്യവും കൃത്യങ്ങളുടെ സത്യതയും ഉറപ്പിച്ചു കൊണ്ട്.
