Shloka 10

एष विग्रहवान्‌ धर्म एष वीर्यवर्तां वर: । एष बुद्धपबाधिको लोके तपसां च परायणम्‌,ये मूर्तिमान धर्म हैं तथा पराक्रमी पुरुषोंमें श्रेष्ठ हैं। इस जगत्‌में ये सबसे बढ़कर बुद्धिमान्‌ और तपस्याके परम आश्रय हैं। ये नाना प्रकारके ऐसे अस्त्रोंको जानते हैं, जिन्हें इस चराचर त्रिलोकीमें दूसरा मनुष्य न तो जानता है और न कभी जान सकेगा

eṣa vigrahavān dharma eṣa vīryavartāṁ varaḥ | eṣa buddhapabādhiko loke tapasāṁ ca parāyaṇam ||

അർജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇദ്ദേഹം ധർമ്മം ശരീരധാരിയായി നില്ക്കുന്നു; വീരന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ. ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ ബുദ്ധിയിൽ പരമോന്നതനും, തപസ്സിനും തപസ്വികൾക്കും പരമാശ്രയവും ആകുന്നു.
