न 2 ५9 ( १) स पीडितो महाबाहुर्गृहीत्वा रथकूबरम्‌ । गाड़ेयो युद्धदुर्धर्षस्तस्थौ दीर्घमिवान्तरम्‌

sa pīḍito mahābāhur gṛhītvā rathakūbaram | gāḍheyo yuddhadurdharṣas tasthau dīrgham ivāntaram ||

പീഡിതനായിരുന്നാലും മഹാബാഹു വീരൻ രഥകൂബരം പിടിച്ചു; യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദുര്ധർഷനായി ദൃഢമായി നിലകൊണ്ടു—ദീർഘനേരം അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയെന്നപോലെ।
