शरै: संछिद्यमानानां कवचानां महात्मनाम् | ताम्रराजतलौहानां प्रादुरासीन्महास्वन:,महामना शुरवीरोंके ताँबे, चाँदी और लोहेके बने हुए कवच जब बाणोंसे कटते थे, तब उनका बड़ा भारी शब्द होता था
śaraiḥ saṃchidyamānānāṃ kavacānāṃ mahātmanām | tāmra-rājata-lauhānāṃ prādurāsīn mahāsvanaḥ ||
മഹാത്മാക്കളായ ശൂരവീരന്മാരുടെ ചെമ്പ്, വെള്ളി, ഇരുമ്പ് എന്നിവകൊണ്ടുള്ള കവചങ്ങൾ അമ്പുകൾകൊണ്ട് മുറിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ, മഹാഭീകരമായ മുഴക്കമുള്ള മഹാനാദം ഉയർന്നു।
