Adhyāya 61: Saṃmohana-astra and the Kuru Withdrawal (संमोहनास्त्रं तथा कुरुनिवृत्तिः)
मया चक्रमिवादिद्धं सैन्यं द्रक्ष्यसि केवलम् । इष्वस्त्रे शिक्षितं चित्रमहं दर्शयितास्मि ते,“मेरे बाणोंसे घायल हुई सारी सेनाको तुम चक्रकी भाँति घूमती हुई देखोगे। आज तुम्हें बाणविद्यामें प्राप्त की हुई अपनी विचित्र शिक्षाका परिचय कराऊँगा
mayā cakram ivādiddhaṃ sainyaṃ drakṣyasi kevalam | iṣv-astre śikṣitaṃ citram ahaṃ darśayitāsmi te |
എന്റെ അമ്പുകളാൽ വേദനിച്ച മുഴുവൻ സൈന്യവും നീ ചക്രംപോലെ ചുറ്റുന്നതായി കാണും. ഇന്ന് അമ്പുവിദ്യയിൽ ഞാൻ അഭ്യസിച്ച അത്ഭുത നൈപുണ്യം നിനക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരാം.
