Chapter 55
सार्क खं तत्क्षणेनासीत् संध्यायामिव लोहितम् | अप्यस्तं प्राप्य सूर्योडपि निवर्तेत न पाण्डव:
sārka-khaṁ tat-kṣaṇenāsīt sandhyāyām iva lohitam | apy astaṁ prāpya sūryo 'pi nivarteta na pāṇḍavaḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അന്നേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ സൂര്യനോടുകൂടിയ ആകാശം സന്ധ്യാകാലത്തെ പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഗഗനംപോലെ രക്തിമമായി. സന്ധ്യയിൽ സൂര്യൻ അസ്തപർവതത്തെ പ്രാപിച്ച് തന്റെ ദഹനകർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് പിന്മാറുന്നു; എന്നാൽ പാണ്ഡുസുതനായ വീര പാർത്ഥൻ ശത്രുപീഡനകർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അവിടെ ഒരു നിമിഷവും പിന്മാറിയില്ല.
