Arjuna’s Approach, Drona’s Recognition, and the Turning of the Cattle (अर्जुनागमनम्, द्रोणवाक्यम्, गोगमनिवृत्तिः)
समाहितो हि बीभत्सुर्वर्षाण्यष्टी च पठच च | जातस्नेहश्न युद्धेडस्मिन् मयि सम्प्रहरिष्यति,अर्जुन तेरह वर्षोतक वनमें समाधि लगाता रहा है, किंतु उसका इस युद्धमें स्नेह है; अतः मुझपर वह बाणोंका प्रहार करेगा
samāhito hi bībhatsur varṣāṇy aṣṭī ca pañca ca | jātasnehaś ca yuddhe 'smin mayi samprahariṣyati ||
ബീഭത്സു അർജുനൻ പതിമൂന്ന് വർഷം നിയന്ത്രിത ഏകാഗ്രതയിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അവന്റെ സ്നേഹാസക്തി ഉണർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ എന്നെ അമ്പുകളാൽ പ്രഹരിക്കും.
