शमीवृक्षस्थायुधप्रकाशनम् / Revelation and Identification of the Weapons on the Śamī Tree
प्रतियोद्धुं न शक्ष्यामि कुरुसैन्यमनन्तकम् | नाशंसे भारती सेनां प्रवेष्ठं भीमकार्मुकाम्,कौरवोंकी सेनाका कहीं अन्त नहीं है। मैं इसका सामना नहीं कर सकता। भयानक धनुषवाली भरतवंशियोंकी इस विशाल वाहिनीमें प्रवेश करना तो दूर रहे, मैं उसके सम्बन्धमें बात भी नहीं कर सकता
pratiyoddhuṃ na śakṣyāmi kuru-sainyam anantakam | nāśaṃse bhāratīṃ senāṃ praveṣṭuṃ bhīma-kārmukām ||
അന്തമില്ലാത്തതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്ന ആ കൗരവസൈന്യത്തെ ഞാൻ നേരിടാൻ കഴിയില്ല. ഭീകരധനുസ്സുകളുള്ള ഭാരതവംശജരുടെ ആ മഹാവാഹിനിയിൽ കടക്കുക എന്നത് ദൂരെയിരിക്കട്ടെ—അതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയാൻ പോലും എനിക്ക് ധൈര്യമില്ല.
