कृतसम्प्रत्ययस्तस्या: कीचक: काममोहित: । नाजानाद दिवसं यान्तं चिन्तयान: समागमम्‌

Transliteration

kṛtasampratyayas tasyāḥ kīcakaḥ kāmamohitaḥ | nājānād divasaṁ yāntaṁ cintayānaḥ samāgamam ||

Translation

കാമമോഹത്തിൽ അന്ധനായ കീചകൻ അവളുടെ വാക്കുകളിൽ പൂർണ്ണ വിശ്വാസം വെച്ചു. അവളോടുള്ള സംഗമസുഖം ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ, ദിവസം എപ്പോൾ കടന്നുപോയെന്നതും അവൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
