द्रौपदी-भीमसेनसंवादः
Draupadī–Bhīmasena Dialogue on Suffering, Kāla, and Daiva
योद्धयमानं महावीर्यमियं समनुशोचति । कल्याणरूपा सैरन्ध्री बललवश्वापि सुन्दर:
yoḍḍhayamānaṃ mahāvīryam iyaṃ samanūśocati | kalyāṇarūpā sairandhrī ballavo ’śvā api sundaraḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—മഹാവീര്യനായ ആ പാചകനെ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, കല്യാണരൂപിണിയും ശുഭലക്ഷണയുമായ സൈരന്ധ്രീ അവനുവേണ്ടി വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ദുഃഖിച്ചു—മുന്പ് യുധിഷ്ഠിരന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ ഒരുമിച്ച് താമസിച്ചതിൽ നിന്നുണ്ടായ സ്നേഹത്താലോ, ധർമ്മബോധത്തിന്റെ പ്രേരണയാലോ. സൈരന്ധ്രീ മംഗളരൂപിണിയായിരുന്നു; ബല്ലവനും സുന്ദരൻ; അശ്വങ്ങളും സുന്ദരങ്ങളായിരുന്നു.
