द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्

क्व नु तेषाममर्षश्न वीर्य तेजश्न वर्तते । न परीप्सन्ति ये भार्या वध्यमानां दुरात्मना,“आज उनका अमर्ष, पराक्रम और तेज कहाँ है? जो एक दुरात्माकी मार खाती हुई अपनी पत्नीकी रक्षा नहीं करते हैं
kva nu teṣām amarṣaś ca vīryaṁ tejaś ca vartate | na parīpsanti ye bhāryāṁ vadhyamānāṁ durātmanā ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഇന്ന് അവരുടെ അമർഷവും വീര്യവും തേജസ്സും എവിടെയാണ്? ദുഷ്ടൻ മർദിക്കുന്ന സ്വന്തം ഭാര്യയെ പോലും രക്ഷിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കാത്തവർ!
