कृष्णा तु सर्वान् भर्तुस्तान् निरीक्षन्ती तपस्विनी । यथा पुनरविज्ञाता तथा चरति भामिनी,तपस्विनी एवं सुन्दरी द्रौपदी भी उन सब पतियोंकी देखभाल करती हुई ऐसा बर्ताव करती, जिससे फिर कोई उसे पहचान न सके
kṛṣṇā tu sarvān bhartus tān nirīkṣantī tapasvinī | yathā punar avijñātā tathā carati bhāminī ||
തപസ്വിനിയായ കൃഷ്ണാ (ദ്രൗപദി) തന്റെ എല്ലാ ഭർത്താക്കളെയും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു പരിചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും വീണ്ടും ആരും അവളെ തിരിച്ചറിയാതിരിക്കുവാൻ അവൾ അത്യന്തം സൂക്ഷ്മമായി പെരുമാറി।
