सो5हमभ्यागतः क्षिप्रं दिदृक्षुस्त्वां सहानुजम् । वचनात् पुरुहृतस्य पार्थस्य च महात्मन:
so’ham abhyāgataḥ kṣipraṁ didṛkṣus tvāṁ sahānujam | vacanāt puruhṛtasya pārthasya ca mahātmanaḥ ||
പുരുഹൂതൻ (ഇന്ദ്രൻ) കല്പിച്ചതിനാലും മഹാത്മാവായ പാർത്ഥൻ (അർജുനൻ) അപേക്ഷിച്ചതിനാലും, നിന്നെ അനുജന്മാരോടുകൂടെ കാണുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഞാൻ വേഗത്തിൽ ഇവിടെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights disciplined responsiveness to rightful authority: the speaker comes promptly out of respect for Indra’s command and Arjuna’s earnest request, showing that ethical action includes timely obedience and honoring noble intentions.
Vaiśampāyana reports a messenger-like arrival: someone has come quickly to meet the addressed person along with his brothers, explicitly stating that the journey was undertaken due to Indra’s instruction and Arjuna’s request.
