Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
इदं सत्यं द्विजातीनां साधूनामात्मजस्य च । सुहृदां च जपेत् कर्णे शिष्यस्यानुगतस्य च,इस सत्य सिद्धान्तको ब्राह्मण आदि द्विजों, साधु पुरुषों, पुत्र, सुहृदों, शिष्यवर्ग तथा अपने अनुगत मनुष्योंके कानमें कहना चाहिये
idaṃ satyaṃ dvijātīnāṃ sādhūnām ātmajasya ca | suhṛdāṃ ca japet karṇe śiṣyasyānugatasya ca ||
പുലസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ സത്യം ദ്വിജന്മാർക്കും സദ്ജനങ്ങൾക്കും, സ്വന്തം പുത്രനും, സുഹൃത്തുകൾക്കും, അനുസരണശീലമുള്ള ശിഷ്യന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ മൃദുവായി (കാതിൽ ചൊല്ലി) അറിയിക്കണം.
