Educational Q&A

Pilgrimage is fulfilled through śauca (purity) and right action: one should bathe at the sacred place and then honour both the gods and the ancestors, integrating devotion with gratitude to one’s lineage.

The speaker gives a prescriptive instruction about visiting the sacred site called Madhuvaṭī at the Goddess’s tīrtha, where the pilgrim should bathe and perform worship for the Pitṛs and the Devas.
