अग्निष्टोमातिरात्रा भ्यां फलं विन्दति भारत | राजसूयमवाप्रोति ऋषिलोक॑ च विन्दति
agniṣṭomātirātrābhyāṁ phalaṁ vindati bhārata | rājasūyam avāpnoti ṛṣilokaṁ ca vindati
ഹേ ഭാരതാ! അഗ്നിഷ്ടോമവും അതിരാത്രവും എന്ന യാഗങ്ങൾ ആചരിച്ചാൽ അവയുടെ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു; രാജസൂയയാഗഫലവും പ്രാപിച്ച് ഋഷിലോകത്തെയും നേടുന്നു.
घुलस्त्य उवाच
That properly performed Vedic sacrifices yield definite spiritual fruits: the performer gains the rewards of Agniṣṭoma and Atirātra, is credited with the high merit associated with the Rājasūya, and attains the Ṛṣis’ realm—highlighting the link between dharmic ritual discipline and elevated destiny.
A speaker addresses a Bharata prince and explains the spiritual outcomes of specific Vedic rites, presenting a doctrinal assurance about the efficacy of yajña and the exalted status of the Rājasūya and Ṛṣiloka within the epic’s moral-religious framework.
