कुरुक्षेत्रस्य तद्‌ द्वारं विश्रुतं भरतर्षभ । प्रदक्षिणमुपावृत्य तीर्थसेवी समाहित:

Transliteration

kurukṣetrasya tad dvāraṁ viśrutaṁ bharatarṣabha | pradakṣiṇam upāvṛtya tīrthasevī samāhitaḥ ||

Translation

ഹേ ഭാരതവൃഷഭാ! കുരുക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ആ പ്രസിദ്ധ ദ്വാരം. അതിനെ പ്രദക്ഷിണം ചെയ്ത് തീർത്ഥസേവയിൽ നിരതനായ യാത്രികൻ സമാഹിതനായി—അന്തര്മുഖനും ഏകാഗ്രനും—ആകുന്നു.
