तत्र स्नात्वा दिवं यान्ति येडपि पापकृतो नरा: | पृथूदके नरश्रेष्ठ एवमाहुर्मनीषिण:,नरश्रेष्ठ) पापी मनुष्य भी वहाँ पृथूदकतीर्थमें स्नान करनेसे स्वर्गलोकमें चले जाते हैं, ऐसा मनीषी पुरुष कहते हैं
tatra snātvā divaṃ yānti ye ’pi pāpakṛto narāḥ | pṛthūdake naraśreṣṭha evam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||
നരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! അവിടെ പൃഥൂദക തീർത്ഥത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ പാപം ചെയ്തവരും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് ഉയരും—എന്ന് മേധാവികൾ പറയുന്നു.
