शालिहोगत्रस्य तीर्थे च शालिसूर्ये यथाविधि । स््नात्वा नरवरश्रेष्ठ गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,नरश्रेष्ठ शालिहोत्रके शालिसूर्य नामक तीर्थमें विधिपूर्वक स्नान करके मनुष्य सहस्र गोदानका फल पाता है
śālihotrasya tīrthe ca śālisūrye yathāvidhi | snātvā naravaraśreṣṭha gosahasraphalaṁ labhet ||
ഘൂലസ്ത്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“നരശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! ശാലിഹോത്രന്റെ തീർത്ഥമായ ‘ശാലിസൂര്യ’ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് വിധിപൂർവം സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ, ആയിരം ഗോദാനത്തിന്റെ ഫലത്തോട് തുല്യമായ പുണ്യം ലഭിക്കും.”
