tato ’bhivādayāmāsa prayataḥ śvaśuraṃ nalaḥ | tato ’nu damayantī ca vavande pitaraṃ śubhā ||
അപ്പോൾ സംയമശീലനായ നലൻ വിനയത്തോടെ തന്റെ ശ്വശുരനെ അഭിവാദ്യം ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്ന് ശുഭലക്ഷണയായ ദമയന്തിയും തന്റെ പിതാവിനെ വന്ദിച്ചു।
बृहृदश्च उवाच
The verse highlights dharmic etiquette: self-restraint and humility expressed through respectful salutations to elders—especially parents and in-laws—affirming social and familial harmony.
