सा वै पित्राभ्यनुज्ञाता मात्रा च भरतर्षभ । नलं॑ प्रवेशयामास यत्र तस्या: प्रतिश्रय:,भरतकुलभूषण! पिता और माताकी आज्ञा ले दमयन्तीने नलको राजभवनके भीतर जहाँ वह स्वयं रहती थी, बुलवाया। दमयन्तीको सहसा सामने उपस्थित देख राजा नल शोक और दु:खसे व्याप्त हो नेत्रोंसे आँसू बहाने लगे

ഭരതശ്രേഷ്ഠാ! പിതാവിന്റെയും മാതാവിന്റെയും അനുമതി ലഭിച്ച ദമയന്തി, താൻ പാർക്കുന്ന രാജമന്ദിരത്തിനകത്തേക്ക് നലനെ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.
