Damayantī’s Recognition by the Piplū Mark and Her Return to Vidarbha
तिष्ठ त्वं स्थावर इव यावदेव नलः क्वचित् । इतो नेता हि तत्र त्वं शापान्मोक्ष्यसि मत्कृतात्
tiṣṭha tvaṃ sthāvara iva yāvadeva nalaḥ kvacit | ito netā hi tatra tvaṃ śāpān mokṣyasi matkṛtāt ||
ബൃഹദശ്വൻ പറഞ്ഞു— “നളൻ ഏതെങ്കിലും സമയത്ത് ഇവിടെ വരുന്നതുവരെ നീ വൃക്ഷംപോലെ അചലനായി ഇവിടെ തന്നെ നില്ക്കുക. ഇവിടെ നിന്നു നീ അവനെ മുന്നോട്ടു നയിക്കണം; അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താൽ ഞാൻ ഏല്പിച്ച ശാപത്തിൽ നിന്നു നീ മോചിതനാകും.”
