दमयन्त्याः कार्यनिश्चयः — Damayantī’s Crisis Plan and Vārṣṇeya’s Departure
नैषधाय ददौ शक्र: प्रीयमाण: शचीपति: । शचीपति इन्द्रने प्रसन्न होकर निषधराज नलको यह वर दिया कि “मैं यज्ञमें तुम्हें प्रत्यक्ष दर्शन दूँगा और अन्तमें सर्वोत्तम शुभ गति प्रदान करूँगा”
naiṣadhāya dadau śakraḥ prīyamāṇaḥ śacīpatiḥ |
ശചീപതിയായ ഇന്ദ്രൻ പ്രസന്നനായി നൈഷധരാജൻ നലനു ഈ വരം നൽകി— “നിന്റെ യജ്ഞത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് പ്രത്യക്ഷ ദർശനം നൽകും; അവസാനം നിനക്ക് പരമോത്തമമായ ശുഭഗതി പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യും.”
