भव उवाच भो भो: फाल्गुन तुष्टोडस्मि कर्मणाप्रतिमेन ते । शौर्येणानेन धृत्या च क्षत्रियो नास्ति ते सम:
bhava uvāca bho bhoḥ phālguna tuṣṭo 'smi karmaṇāpratimenate | śauryeṇānena dhṛtyā ca kṣatriyo nāsti te samaḥ ||
ഭവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ ഫാൽഗുണാ! നിന്റെ ഈ അപരിമിതമായ കൃത്യം, വീര്യം, ധൈര്യം എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അത്യന്തം സന്തുഷ്ടനാണ്. നിനക്കു തുല്യനായ മറ്റൊരു ക്ഷത്രിയൻ ഇല്ല.”
भव उवाच
Excellence in one’s dharma is measured not only by strength but by steadfastness and disciplined action; when valor is joined with endurance and right intent, it becomes worthy of divine commendation.
Śiva (addressed as Bhava) directly praises Arjuna (Phālguna), expressing satisfaction with his incomparable deed and declaring him unequaled among kṣatriyas for his valor and firmness.
