अर्जुनस्य इन्द्रकीलगमनम् तथा शक्रसाक्षात्कारः
Arjuna’s journey to Indrakīla and encounter with Indra
पुष्पवर्ष च सुमहन्निपपात महीतले । मेघजालं च विततं छादयामास सर्वतः,पृथ्वीपर फूलोंकी बड़ी भारी वर्षा होने लगी। मेघोंकी घटा घिरकर आकाशमें सब ओर छा गयी। उन दुर्गम वनस्थलियोंको लाँघकर अर्जुन हिमालयके पृष्ठभागमें एक महान् पर्वतके निकट निवास करते हुए शोभा पाने लगे
puṣpavarṣaṃ ca sumahann ipapāta mahītale | meghajālaṃ ca vitataṃ chādayāmāsa sarvataḥ ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഭൂമിയുടെ മേൽ അത്യന്തം മഹത്തായ പുഷ്പവർഷം പെയ്തു; വ്യാപിച്ച മേഘജാലം എല്ലാദിക്കിലും വിരിഞ്ഞ് എല്ലാം മൂടി. ആ ഭയഭക്തി നിറഞ്ഞ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തിൽ, ദുഷ്കരമായ വനപാതകൾ കടന്ന് അർജുനൻ ഹിമാലയത്തിന്റെ പൃഷ്ഠഭാഗത്തെ ഒരു മഹാപർവതത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്ത് വസിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി; അവിടെ അവൻ പുതുശോഭയോടെ ദീപ്തനായി—പ്രകൃതിയേ തന്നെ അവന്റെ ദൃഢനിശ്ചയത്തെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ।
