हस्ती श्वेत इवाज्ञात: कथं जिष्णुश्नरिष्यति । जहाँ जलकी अधिकता हो, ऐसे प्रदेशमें शाखा, पुष्प और पत्तोंसे सुशोभित विशाल शालवृक्षके समान अथवा श्वेत गजराज ऐरावतके सदृश ये अर्जुन कहीं भी अज्ञात कैसे रह सकेंगे?
Bhīmasena uvāca — hastī śveta ivājñātaḥ kathaṁ jiṣṇur na riṣyati?
ഭീമസേനൻ പറഞ്ഞു— വെള്ള ആനയെപ്പോലെ ജിഷ്ണു (അർജുനൻ) എങ്ങനെ അജ്ഞാതനായി കഴിയുമ്? ജലം സമൃദ്ധമായ ദേശത്തിൽ അവൻ ശാഖ-പുഷ്പ-പല്ലവങ്ങളാൽ ശോഭിക്കുന്ന മഹത്തായ ശാലവൃക്ഷംപോലെ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വെള്ള ഗജരാജൻ ഐരാവതംപോലെ തന്നെ തെളിഞ്ഞു നിൽക്കും. അങ്ങനെ അവൻ എവിടെയും എങ്ങനെ തിരിച്ചറിയപ്പെടാതെ ഇരിക്കും?
