शीतलच्छायमागम्य न्यग्रोधं गहने वने । क्षुत्पिपासापरीताज्: पाण्डवा: समुपाविशन्,तत्पश्चात् उस गहन वनमें भूख-प्याससे पीड़ित अंगोंवाले पाण्डव एक शीतल छायावाले बरगदके पास आकर बैठ गये
śītalacchāyam āgamya nyagrodhaṃ gahane vane | kṣutpipāsāparītāḥ pāṇḍavāḥ samupāviśan ||
വൈശമ്പായനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അതിനുശേഷം ഘനവനത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ശീതളനിഴൽ പകരുന്ന ആൽമരത്തെ സമീപിച്ച്, ക്ഷുധയും ദാഹവും കൊണ്ട് പീഡിതരായ പാണ്ഡവർ അവിടെ ഇരുന്നുവന്നു.
