मार्कण्डेय उवाच एवमुकक््त्वा स धर्मात्मा गुरुभक्तो गुरुप्रिय:

Mārkaṇḍeya uvāca: evam uktvā sa dharmātmā gurubhaktō gurupriyaḥ
Translation
മാർകണ്ഡേയൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞിട്ട്, ധർമ്മാത്മാവും ഗുരുഭക്തനും ഗുരുപ്രിയനും ആയ അവൻ സ്വധർമ്മം അനുസരിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ട് നീങ്ങി।
